Portable Brinell Hardness Tester Model PHB-150 is designed on basis of the basic theory of Brinell Hardness Testing. The testing load is accurately controlled by shear pin. The indentation diameter is read by reading microscope after the indentation is indented on test specimens. Brinell testing result can be obtained through checking appendix.

Brinell Hardness Tester Model PHB-150 has three applications: Bench Stand Tester, Portable Tester and Hammer Impact Tester. It can be used to test the hardness of middle and small parts as well as large and very large parts. It is especially suitable for testing the hardness of work pieces that are assembled and can not be cut into pieces or moved. The force can be applied from any direction, and the hardness on top, bottom and side etc could be all tested.

Test head can be used independently as Hammer Impact Type Brinell Hardness Tester by which we can test the hardness of workpeice from one side. The accuracy is much higher than other Hammer Impact Type Brinell Hardness Tester.

Test Conditions: 1580kgf, Ф7.26mm ball, F/D2 =30, which equivalent with test conditions: 3000kgf, Ф10mm ball.

Model PHB-150 can be used to test the hardness of forgings, castings, steel, nonferrous metals and alloys as well as machinery parts such as annealed, tempered, quenched and tempered metal parts.

PHB-150 Portable Brinell Hardness Tester has many advantages such as compact structure, easy operation, various usages and flexible application.

Compared with the commonly used Leeb hardness testers, the PHB-150 Brinell testers has higher precision and lower requirement on the surface roughness of workpieces. The direct test result meets the requirement of the drawing or specification of most workpieces. It is well acceptable in international trade.
